Tockwith Community Hub

The Tockwith Community Hub runs a session every Monday (including Bank Holidays), from 10am to 12pm, at Tockwith Village Hall. We host a range of activities, talks, advice sessions and educational opportunities to connect the local community – residents, organisations and groups in Tockwith and surrounding villages. Whether it’s an excuse to leave the house, to meet new people or see a friendly face for the first time in a while, to network, to learn more about your community or try something new, the Hub is here for you.

Anyone is welcome to attend, whatever your age, faith or interests, and no booking is required – just drop in between 10am and 12pm on a Monday and enjoy a cup of tea, a biscuit, and a chat with new friends. Most sessions have a specific theme or talk that you can get involved in if you’d like to, but it isn’t compulsory. You’ll find the upcoming themes listed in ‘What’s On’, below, and more information on our Facebook page.

We were set up at the start of 2018 by a group of local volunteers and we’re a very friendly bunch – we love to see new people coming along. We have welcomed parents with babies and toddlers, the older generation and everyone in-between, and are delighted to see the Hub growing and connecting people. Please do tell your local friends, neighbours and relatives about the Hub to spread the word.

If you need any more info, we can be contacted by message on our Facebook page. You can also give us a call on 01423 358939 if you need help with transport or if you don’t use Facebook.
